We have seen different kinds of marriages but this one was just out of the way. Have you ever thought of inviting dogs to your wedding? Well, this couple did.
Sarah Mallouk Crain works for a rescue organization in Pennsylvania known as Pitties Love Peace. She and her husband share a love for animals, especially dogs. This couple already has three rescue dogs at their home and they also foster dogs that are waiting for homes. So, how could their marriage happen without the cute pooches? When Sarah and Matt decided to get married, they came up with this innovative idea of replacing the bridesmaids’ flower bouquets with cute little puppies.
And they did so! The wedding ceremony was full of cuteness. Caroline Logan, the wedding photographer has taken pictures of the six little puppies who have their unique stories. According to Caroline, the puppies brought some extra fun to the ceremony. And it is clear in all the photos.
Named after some of the first ladies, the Martha, Abigail, Dolley, Elizabeth, and Louisa are boxer-coonhound rescue puppies. They are now eight weeks old and have their foster families to take care of them.
The bride herself is posing with Biggie Smalls, a pit bull puppy which is 9 weeks old now. He was rescued from streets of Brooklyn, New York by the organization where Sarah works.
“The puppies, of course, caused the photos to be extra natural, candid, and carefree — exactly what I strive for in my work,” – said photographer Logan. Even the wedding party enjoyed playing with these cute puppies.
Not just the bridesmaids, but the groomsmen too had their share of fun with puppies.
Thankfully, the puppies were on their best behavior and didn’t create any trouble in the ceremony.
