Deepika Padukone has finally made it to the Forbes Magazine and we all are proud of her. Not just us, the entire Bollywood is talking about Deepika’s entry in the Forbes list of highest paid actresses where she ranks 10th with a $10 Million remuneration.
While some people are envious of her glorious achievement, some are openly applauding her feat. The other Hollywood actresses who are included in the list are Jennifer Lawrence (1st), Melissa McCarthy and Scarlett Johansson.
So, do you want to check out what the Bollywood actors and filmmakers are talking about this dimpled girl? Here you go!
The maker of some pathbreaking films, Madhur Bhandarkar is very happy with Deepika’s place amongst the highest paid actresses in the globe. As reported in Hindustan Times, Bhandarkar said,
“Deepika has been one of the most talented actresses and been hugely commercially successful. It is a great achievement and great power to her. It’s a great moment for everybody. I am sure she will do as well in Hollywood as she has done here.”
The director who had worked with Padukone in his film Aarakshan in 2011 has also wished her all the luck. He completely feels that she deserved it and showed his respect towards her.
“Even if she had not got this (made it to the list), the respect I have for her would not be any less. She is a very hardworking girl. Money is a secondary thing for a person like her. She is doing good work everyday and that is what is more important for her. She deserves it”
Shoojit Sircar, the director of Piku where Deepika played the protagonist is full of praise for this beauty. According to him,
“This is good news and I am really happy for her. She is doing very well. She is an extremely sincere actor and deserves this.”
The veteran actor has also expressed his joy through his words.
“In her case, I am very proud because she is also our student. It speaks a lot about the fact that hard work pays and I don’t attribute it to anything else. She has been a very hardworking person ever since she was training. It’s the year of women in India”
Well, we too are glad. She has proved that Indian women aren’t lagging behind.
